- JoshMcKoon: it is fair to say delegates came to this convention concerned and are leaving feeling that the McCain-Palin ticket is a winner
- JoshMcKoon: one more on the speech: many learned a lot of new things about McCain and his family--see the "I hate war" portion for that

- JoshMcKoon: other speech points: energy independence a huge hit and great contrast with Obama...
- JoshMcKoon: it would seem that we as republicans should be allowed the same right of assembly that the protestors have

- JoshMcKoon: best thing about this convention: Sarah palin proving the pundits wrong
- JoshMcKoon: Obama biden cannot say McCain wasn't talking about the economy/middle class--his speech tightly focused on solving those problems

- JoshMcKoon: on the speech: vintage McCain, startling admissions all agreed (ie my captors broke me), focus on bipartisan record, lots of policy details
- JoshMcKoon: they were provided msnbc press credentials...the interruptions were minimal and handled well by McCain
