Smiths Station man killed in wreck

Jeffrey King, 50, of Smiths Station was killed Thursday afternoon when he lost control of his pickup while driving south on I-85 in Harris County.

King's truck went off the road and hit a tree close to 5 p.m., said an Georgia Highway Patrolman.

The crash is being investigated by the LaGrange Post of the Georgia Highway Patrol.
